Dear Colleagues in International Education,
We are happy to introduce our first newsletter treating topics in international education. We will mail a new issue every other month and we look forward to continued conversations and creative interactions very soon.
A Brief Note from educPLAN
educPLAN works with educational institutions to support internationalization through focused professional development and program design. Our core areas include Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI), Global Competences, and Cross-Cultural and Professional Communication. Our work is designed to help institutions strengthen teaching, learning, and collaboration across international contexts. We start the new year 2026 with the first issue of a bimonthly newsletter and hope you enjoy it.
In Focus: Introducing Our Micro Appraisal Program
As we celebrate International Education – a time to recognize the power of learning across borders and cultures – we are pleased to introduce a new initiative: the educPLAN Micro Appraisal Program, Celebrating International Education.
Designed for today’s dynamic educational landscape, the Micro Appraisal Program provides brief, focused, and actionable feedback to support continuous growth and timely improvement. It reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence, inclusivity, and lifelong learning – core values at the heart of international education.
We invite institutions to join us in this new chapter in professional development via empowering educators, enriching classrooms, and strengthening our global learning community.
The Micro Appraisal Program is open to educational institutions (schools, institutes, and academies) wishing to present their programs for appraisal. An international commission of experts representing multiple continents will evaluate each submission. The process is conducted primarily online and follows the structure below:
Online application
Pre-audit by representatives of educPLAN
Extensive online presentation (written documentation and video) by the applicant institution
Evaluation of submitted materials by the educPLAN Experts Commission
Online conference with members of the Experts Commission
Evaluation conference and final decision
Formal presentation of the appraisal document to the applicant (online or, upon request, in situ)
